Tools for Interior Designers are broken. Let’s Fix Them Together.

Why we launched the Design Partner Program at Design.efficiently

Interior designers didn’t go into this profession to chase spreadsheets, align PowerPoint boxes, or track down version 17 of a PDF. And yet, that’s where so much of their time goes.

Design workflows today are painfully fragmented. You’re juggling Excel for schedules, Canva for visuals, Notes for selections, and email for… everything. The result? Miscommunication, version chaos, admin overload, and less time doing what you actually love: designing.

We believe designers deserve better. So we built Design.efficiently: a centralized, visual platform that replaces the patchwork of tools and helps teams communicate design intent clearly, from selections to specs to schedules. No more chaos. No more guesswork.

But building the future of design tech doesn’t happen overnight. That’s why we launched the Design Partner Program.

What is the Design Partner Program?

It’s not a sales push. And it’s not a beta test. The Design Partner Program is a 6-week paid consulting opportunity for interior design professionals to test our platform, share structured feedback, and help us shape the tools they’ll actually want to use every day.

We’re curating a small cohort of thoughtful, tech-curious designers who want to drive meaningful change in how design work gets done.

Why we’re doing this now

The future of interior design isn’t just beautiful – it’s efficient, collaborative, and smart. That future needs tools that understand the complexity of real design workflows.

Too many platforms are built for designers, not with them. We’re flipping that script. Our goal is to better understand the people who feel workflow pain every day, and are ready to do something about it.

What’s in it for you?

If you’re selected to join the program, here’s what you get:

  1. $100/hour compensation (for an initial 4-hour engagement)
  2. 1 year of free platform access ($1800 value)
  3. Early access to new tools and innovations
  4. A direct voice in product development

It’s a flexible, low-commitment way to influence a tool you might be using for years to come — and get rewarded for your time and insight.

Who we’re looking for

You don’t have to be a tech expert. Just someone who:

  1. Works actively in interior design (as a designer, coordinator, or assistant)
  2. Is involved in selections, schedules, or spec workflows
  3. Juggles multiple tools and knows there has to be a better way
  4. Is curious about smarter, more automated ways of working
  5. Can offer honest, structured feedback

Ready to help build the future of design tech?

The Design Partner Program is already underway, and we’re continuing to expand our curated cohort. If you’re a forward-thinking interior designer who’s tired of chaos and ready for clarity, we’d love to hear from you.
